About us

History

Dataventure was founded in 2016 by Mark Eggimann, who leads the company since its inception. Together with his team, Dataventure has developed customized Data Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions to companies with a yearly turnover of over US$ 1 Billion.

Our Team

Dataventure partners with several proven, highly skilled IT experts for the development of more complex data analytics solutions, in order to meet time requirements for implementation. Dataventure’s team resides across Europe and will be assigned upon client alignment.

Mark Eggimann

Mark spent 15 years in different international Sales and Business Development roles for two major global players Procter & Gamble and Carlsberg. He held the biggest Key Account Position in Latin America (Procter & Gamble, 2005-2006) and a Director position during his last 4 corporate years before launching Dataventure (Carlsberg, 2011-2015).

Whilst exceeding expectations year after year, Mark was particularly passionate about leveraging data to improve efficiency and effectiveness for both the business and the organization, developing and implementing best-in-class tools. His second passion belonged to professional development, becoming a highly skilled trainer, awarded with the Latin American Sales Leadership Development Award (Procter & Gamble, 2010).

Mark holds a Masters in Computer Science Engineering from the global top university EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne, 2000) and was the first Swiss citizen ever to obtain an internship at the CNES (National Space Center, 1999), part of the ESA (European Space Agency) in Kourou, French Guyana. He is fluent in English, German, French & Spanish.
